CEE2ACT project seeks to empower countries in Central Eastern Europe and beyond (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia) to develop circular bioeconomy strategies and action plans through innovative governance models. The objective is to achieve better informed decision-making processes, societal engagement and innovation, building on the practice of partners from contributing countries and addressing relevant economic, social and environmental aspects.
To contribute to this aim, a self-assessment tool has been developed for bioeconomy promotion which intends to support administrative bodies at national, regional or local level to evaluate the current state of development of bioeconomy development in the area and provide some recommendations regarding the aspects that should be improved to set a suitable framework for bioeconomy initiatives implementation and the green transition.
The users will have to firstly need to register. Then the assessment process can start by accessing the questionnaire including a set of questions to evaluate different aspects that are key for bioeconomy promotion (feedstock potential and availability, infrastructures, funding, etc.). Once all questions are answered the user can finalised this step and access the results obtained based on the answers provided. The user can also access results from maximum 2 previous periods and compare them to the outcomes from the current period to identify aspects improved.
